Marc Miller visits the INCA Media Labs

On May 19th, 2026, Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, toured the INCA Media Labs and learned more about our Pikiskwewin podcast project, funded by Canadian Heritage.

Beginner Saulteaux Language Instructor and podcaster, Natalie Langman, also shared her story about how the pikiskwewin project gave her the motivation and resources to reawaken her Saulteaux language by working with her dad, in order to be able to do her podcast Akāni-nīkānītan. Then Natalie started teaching beginner Saulteaux and developing learning materials, which are available on www.pikiskwewin.ca. Minister Miller then shared his journey to learn Mohawk and introduced himself in the Mohawk language.
